Upon request from our customers, we can also work with fire-resistant materials certified as V-0 with a yellow card. Additionally, we can handle other engineering plastics for injection molding that are not listed above, tailored to the specific design requirements of the mold.

MOLD CONSTRUCTION

costruzione-stampiWe collaborate closely with our customers to determine the most suitable materials, surface finish options, and production tolerances. This collaborative effort is aimed at optimizing the production process and achieving highperformance objects in terms of quality, durability, and finish.

LPM manages all phases necessary for the proper construction of molds, starting with the selection of the most appropriate type of steel or aluminum. We employ advanced manufacturing techniques such as CNC, electroerosion, and laser machining centers. The final assembly of the mold is conducted with a combination of our in-house expertise and specialized external workshops.

PLANNING & DESIGN

LPM, in partnership with the PROJECT-LEADER studio, has the capability to transform our customers’ concepts into 3D solid drawings using state-of-the-art CAD software. Subsequently, we can create prototypes in ABS or other materials through rapid prototyping and CNC machining.

The solid prototype allows for a comprehensive evaluation of both the functionality and aesthetics of the part to be produced, as well as the suitability of the polymer to be used. This thorough evaluation is conducted before advancing to the final stage of molding equipment creation, ensuring precise and effective results.
